A little bit about our audition process:
We aim to be very clear and open through every step of our audition process. If you have any questions, concerns or thoughts, please do not hesitate to contact us!
We look forward to reviewing your submissions!

We encourage all skilled singers to apply, such as crossover artists, singers in vocal transition (fach change, etc), older singers re-igniting their singing careers, etc. We also will consider non-conventional casting: if you know you can do, don’t be afraid to go for a stretch! If you want to help us tell stories through music, we want you!
- We will listen to the aria you requested as your first audition piece.
- We will then pick one or two arias from the remainder of your recordings, and listen to them, reserving the right to listen to only selections of each.
- During this process, we may reach out to you for supporting material, such as other pieces you may have recorded, or ask you to speak and/or act out an excerpt from this season’s operas, through video conferencing (such as Skype/ ZoomChat).
We aim to be very clear and open through every step of our audition process. If you have any questions, concerns or thoughts, please do not hesitate to contact us!

- Modest stipend for all roles
- Housing is not guaranteed; however, an attempt will be made to accommodate artists that do not have their own housing. We have a number of patrons who have helped with housing in the past.
- We aim to condense rehearsal schedules, in an effort to maximize your time and efforts. All performers are expected to arrive off- book for first staging rehearsals.
